Participation in the VII World Symposium on Inorganic Fruit Nutrition of ISHS which took place in Bolzano, Italy (27 – 30 June 2017). The presentations focused on the need to study the rhizosphere, protection and improvement of the soil, the carbon footprint of agricultural practices, water management and of course the special nutritional requirements of fruit trees. ISHS organized a visit to the famous garden of Trauttmansdorff Castle and the Laimburg Institute where we were informed about the current research on fruit trees. From Greeks other than the representative of Agrocosmos S.A. , Christos Xylogiannis, a professor at the University of Basilicata in Italy, and a researcher from East Malling participated.
