INSOL® BORON is a liquid boron (B) fertilizer, suitable for foliar applications. It is quickly absorbed by plants and is particularly effective in the prevention and treatment of boron deficiencies in all crops and especially in boron-demanding crops, as well as in cases where soil conditions of acidity, moisture and fertility do not favor the availability of boron for plants. The role of boron is of primary importance in bud/meristoma tissue development, root and shoot growth, tissue differentiation, flower formation and pollen germination, cell wall synthesis and cell division. It also affects a number of other physiological processes, such as the function of cell membranes, the metabolism of phenols, auxins, nucleic acids, proteins and carbohydrates, the transport of carbohydrates and the movement of hormones and therefore the development and maturation of seeds and fruits or storage organs, without distortions.
